Experience as a Teacher:

I started HTAM LLC due to my ability to recognize my skills and utilize them to grow as an artist and community advocate. Although I’ve been performing and writing for the majority of my life, as I matured into young adulthood, my artistry became a way to reach and teach others. My voice not only became my strength, but a necessity as a way to combat medical trauma and build awareness for how trauma impacts mental stability. 

HTAM LLC was birthed from my need to constantly create and release through my artistic work. Experiencing life as an immigrant and person living with Sickle Cell has taught me immense knowledge on navigating health fields and what services are lacking for my community members. I know I will be able to provide more services & education to clients struggling with things that I’ve been silenced by and continue to advocate for in my differing communities.
